Tiger: 9; Wolf: 4 and 8; Bear: 1 and 2; Jr. Webelos: 6 and 7; Sr. Webelos: 3 and 5

Attendance: Alan Johnson, Kelly Smith, Tammy Siva, Kelly Ives, Duane Hall, Paralee Hendrickson, Eric Stephen and Linda Schock

Pack meeting:

Our theme is "To the Rescue" Kelly Smith will lead this month's Pack meeting. We will involve a few parents again this month.

Meeting will be set up for family seating which will provide enough chairs for parents to sit with their kids throughout the room. The den flags will be at the front of the room so families will be encouraged to sit together rather than Dens sitting together. The Jr Webelos will act as greeters at the entrance to pass out newsletters, song sheets and shake hands with the arriving Cub Scouts. This will give the Scouts additional opportunities to learn the handshake. They can also remind families of the family seating.

Advancements: Please submit all Scout advancement and awards to Tammy Johnson by October 20 via email. Also send your Dens advancements to Linda Schock to be entered into the Pack records.

Treasurer: The Pack has a checking account balance of $1,020.00.
Asst Cubmaster:

Position available.

Training:

Tecumseh Council is holding these upcoming training events:

  • Cub Scout Leader Training on Saturday, November 5 from 8 AM - 5:30 PM.
  • Outdoor Skills Training, October 15-16
  • Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation, October 29

Leaders are encouraged to attend training. Simply call/email if you would like to attend. The Pack pays all training registration fees and your materials and lunch are provided.

Other Business:

Church Chili Supper to be held Friday, October 14, 4-7 PM in Brethren Hall. Each Den is asked to provide 3 dozen servings of cornbread, just bring them to the Hall that Friday. Also, the Church has asked for 4 volunteers for each hour of the supper to setup, serve and cleanup. Please to sign up.

Cub Scout Family Bash is a family campout at Camp Birch, October 8-9. Families can still attend and pay on Saturday, the late reg. cost is $20 per person and includes all meals and a patch. Meet the group of 39 Pack 68 participants at 7:15 AM in the south end of the Camp Birch parking lot.

Patch Sale - The Pack has a supply of old, never used patches that we would like to sell. We can advertise to the local units at Roundtable and through email to other Troops.
