Here you will meet some people who mean a lot to me and I am still very much in contact with. I met these people when I'd just hit my teens and as emotions are riot at this time in a person's life, so were my friendships, but I think this only made them stronger!

If you want to see who Mel was friends with in the other places she lived, click the required place name below:

This is one of my other best mates, Jeanette aged 14 in her then family home in Sennelager. Jeanette is now at the University of Paderborn studying to become and Art and English teacher.
Jeanette is very much an artist and loves anything arty!

I suppose you could call her a free-spirited modern hippy!

Nicola aged just 11 years old - ah bless!! Bless!

The picture on the left shows my best friend Nicky as she was then, a weeny 11 year old.
You'll see with the most recent picture of her on the "Nottingham Friends - 1996" page, that Nicky is not so small anymore. She is tall and lanky and she knows it!

I love her to pieces, she is like a sister to me andwhen I marry Richard, she is going to be my Matron of Honour.

This is a more recent photo pf Jeanette aged 19 (but she is 24 now!) in new home in Sennelager. Jeanette is now at the University of Paderborn studying to become and Art and English teacher.

Us lookin awful on Mufty Day!

This show me and Jeanette aged 14 on "Mufty Day" at Kings School in Gutersloh, Germany. She borrowed my hair curlers the night before and it didn't quite turn out right!
Jeanette is very spiritualised and she is always trying to read my palms, etc, which I happily oblidge.

Jeanette and I used to sit on her bedroom window ledge in the summer night dangling our bare legs in the rain whilst singing along to our then fabourite band Pearl Jam . Click the band's name to see another website about them.

Annalise with Ben the sheepdog.

Annalise with her dog Ben
on Pendle Hill in Lancashire.

The picture on the left is of Annalise, with whom I went to school in Sennelager.

Annalise is mad about horses and works for the Federation of Sports Industries in Marketting.
