Nottingham is a wonderful city and consists of everything you could want. Nottingham is known for its great nightlife, which I can personally vouch for. Nottingham has varied architecture like Bristol, but yet it is still very modern except for the few old buildings which are protected.

I liked living in Nottingham but I doubt I will move back unless my employment takes me there because I love the South West so much more.

Nottingham is mostly famous for Boots Company Plc, The Lace Market and Raleigh Industries.

We all know the story; Robin Hood stole from the rich to give to the poor according to legend.

Robin Hood is Nottingham's well-known and most famous figurehead whether he's a legend or not.

This is a very nice puc and it serves good food.

Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem is apparently the oldest pub in England,
The Trip to Jerusalem is said to have been built in 1189. It was a popular haunt for the crusaders on their way to the Holy Land, which is where the pub's name came from.

Ghosts are said to haunt the Pub, and a model Galleon hangs from the ceiling which is reported to be cursed. Apparently the Galleon should never be cleaned as anyone who attempts to polish it meets their death! Argh!

The picture on the right is of the famous Nottingham Castle, where we can see the statue of Robin Hood is situated.

The castle itself is now home to leisure attractions such a modern art gallery, museum, craft shops and a restaurant to name a few.

The castle is also surrounded by beautiful blooming gardens all year round.

Nottingham often wins the oveted "City in Bloom" competition also.
