It's a Fact!

It happened in 1973... (the year I was born)...

San Francisco Giant Willie McCovey belts two home runs in the 4th inning of a 9–3 win over the Astros. McCovey's feat is the first time in 24 years in the NL. An excited fan jumps for joy while enjoying his juicy Oscar Meyer weiner. Unfortunately the chain of events following the incident did not go well when Oscar Meyer accidentally pelted the guy’s face right behind him.

Washington D.C. - After accepting the resignations of four of his closest aides, President Nixon told the American people that he accepted full responsibility for the actions of his subordinates in the Watergate scandal. Upon returning home that evening, he put on his favorite flannel jammies and flipped the tube on to watch Mary Tyler Moore.

UFO Sightings - Eudunda, South Australia – Several rings, varying from 0.6-5.4m in diameter with a 10cm wide band of dead grass, were found in an area 16 by 32m. After spending 6 days on investigations, the findings revealed that they weren’t the well-known “crop circles” of today, instead they were the result of Mary Breddelworth’s buxom behind. Having forgotten to bring their fold-out chairs on a picnic that afternoon, the Breddleworth’s were stuck sitting directly on the grass.

Roseville, CA - a Southern Pacific train engine pulling 103 cars arrived at the SP switching yard. In its cargo were 7,056 Mark 81 bombs, loaded onto 21 Department of Defense freight cars and headed, ultimately, to Vietnam and the Vietnam War. In less than an hour, the train caught fire causing a giant explosion. Amazingly, no one died. The local towns-kids were jumping with joy to find out that the Penny they lay on the railroad was actually squished down from the weight of the train.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – The Milwaukee Brewers season opener is delayed four days after a 13-inch snowstorm blankets the city. Lavern & Shirley decide to call in sick.

The Classic IQ Test
What's Your IQ?

Congratulations, Angie! Your IQ score is 133

IQ stands for intelligence quotient. It's a score that tells how smart or bright a person is, compared to other people.

The average IQ is 100.
Scores above 100 indicate a higher-than-average IQ.
Scores below 100 indicate a lower-than-average IQ.
