Numerical Software
(1% coding 99% debugging)

During my FFT oriented research, I had written some  utilities that are now cluttering our lab's file server.
So now, I decided to extend my cluttering activities to this web page, where I hope someone might appreciate it.  The programs here are either compiled with djgpp or, when possible, with Open Watcom (for smaller executable size) (so that they could run in real DOS mode), then compressed with UPX and archived with 7-Zip.

The files are also available from Programmer's Heaven in a slightly different packaging.

Pattern Generators
These are a bunch of pattern generators.  I decided to write them since it was easier than looking for them with an image search.  For numerical convennience (and programmng ease),  I decided to make them write output on ascii matrix format.

Checker Board Pattern Generator

Grid Pattern Generator

Stripe Pattern Generators

  Vertical

Txt2pgm
As mentioned earlier, the output of the pattern generators are in ascii.  If you want to convert it into more or less recognizable image files, then this utility could be used.  It converts ascii matrices into pgm images.  You could then use other software such as InfranView to convert or edit it.
