This is one of the closest trekking regions north of
Kathmandu, it is one of the most remote culturally. R Day
01 : Arrival in KTM airport and drive to hotel Langtang valley The Langtang Valley lies closer to Kathmandu than other trekking regions, and is lesser used by both trekkers and local people. Just after the monsoon, this trek gives superb views of the great peak of Langtang Lirung (7.246 in.) which dominates the upper valley and straddles the Tibetan border. In springtime it is an ideal place to spot birds and flowers of Nepal. According to a legend, a lama following a runaway yak discovered the valley. There are good opportunities for moderate climbing excursions here, you should allow some extra days for explorations of the extensive glacier system.
Ganja La Pass Camping Trek The Ganja La Pass is one of the most challenging passes in Nepal. This wedge in the Himalayas is situated at an altitude of 5,106 in. Our Langtang trek takes you over this pass as you make your way south from Langtang village which lies at 3,500 in. And is the national park head quarters is located here. The route from Kyangjing Gompa in Langtang to Tarke Gyang in Helambu, require crossing the 5,100 m. Ganja La. The pass is blocked by snow, so local inquiries about its condition. good equipment and some mountaineering experience are necessary for safe crossing. The Helambu village exydes a Tibetan feel and you will see fields enclosed by stone walls as well as herds of yaks, the most important animal for the people here. From Sermathang, we descend to Bahunpati before Melamche Bazaar then drive back to Kathmandu. Itinerary

crossing of Gosainkund the trail descends out of the Helambu, leading back
to the Kathmandu valley Langtang is quite unlike any other place, where
you can relive a time lost to our modern day world.
